Xmas Party 10.12.16

Our Christmas ‘Do’ of 2016 was probably our most successful ever. It was held as a joint celebration with our good friends from the Mayflower Reunion and what a night it was!

The ‘Blacklers room’  –  ready for our guests!

The John Blackler Room above Tess Riley’s Pub in the City Centre was the chosen venue and the place was absolutely packed, not only by ourselves and those great Mayflower people, but also by many of our friends from most of the local (and not so local) scooter clubs. All the very best in our kind of music was provided by our very own Dave Bell of HCR 92.3fm, together with the brilliant Phil Laing and John Rowley of the Mayflower. Well done guys !

Some of the raffle prizes for the night. £750 was raised for charity – Royal School for blind and St Joseph’s hospice Netherton.

The music and the ‘all you can eat’ buffet certainly went down well and our thanks must go to the management and staff of Tess Riley’s for looking after us so well.

All of us from Liverpool Scooter Club would like to say a big thanks to absolutely everyone who supported us on the night and for their generosity towards our chosen charities. A very special mention must of course go to those fantastic people of the Mayflower Reunion for their part in making the event so special.

Our Christmas Celebrations are due to be held this year on Saturday 16th December, please watch our ‘Events’ page for further info.
