A good turn out for the ride Into the Valley (Betws -y- Coed ) with a good number of scooters turning up at the Whistle Stop Cafe in Rhuddlan, though slightly down on numbers compared to last year.When the time had come to leave for the ride out, Glen from Crosby and a couple of the Cloud9 lads were busy replacing his exhaust gasket and studs. They said that they would catch up with us at Betws-y-Coed. The repair job must have taken longer than expected so I think that they decided to head back to Merseyside. At Betws there where a few of the Caernarfon lads waiting for us, we had a quick gab to them and a few others before we set off in search of some much needed food and drink! After regrouping the majority of Club members decided to ride back via the A5 back to Liverpool/Formby/Skem etc.I had the not so long ride back to Maenen on the Conwy Valley, where some light refreshments (depicted in the last photo) were waiting for me.Cheers.Big thanks to Big Nige, Hefin, Coaty and the rest of the lads marshalling the ride.Until the next one.Ernie. |
