Alderhay Children’s Hospital Xmas Toy Run 16.12.18
What a great turn out considering the threat of bad weather for the Annual Xmas Toy Run to Alderhey Children’s Hospital. Plenty of Scooters and motorcycles attending to bring a little ray of happiness to the Children and Staff at the hospital. This was also the main weekend for Christmas shopping and the Liverpool v United game taking place at Anfield. The amount of presents, selection boxes and cash donations was amazing. A big thank you must go to everyone who attended and to the people who made anonymous donations.

On a personal note, a big thanks to my work colleagues for taking part in my weekly spot the ball tickets.

A very generous donation to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital by Gordon Leigh of Winnington in Cheshire.
Gordon is a regular listener to the Mod Show on HCR every Monday and having heard Dave Bell talking about this year’s Scooter and Motorcycle Christmas Toy Run, he decided that he’d like to make a donation himself. Gordon isn’t involved in the scooter scene himself but asked that his donation consisting of four Christmas Sacks of top quality toys be donated to the Hospital on behalf of LSC. Gordon is a very modest man who would probably prefer to remain anonymous, however we just couldn’t let his amazing generosity go unmentioned. Thanks Gordon for all that you’ve done!
A kind ‘thank you’ letter sent to Terry Keane from Alderhey Childrens Hospital. A special well done must go out to Terry, who has been the organiser behind this lovely annual event for many years now and long may it continue!
