After meeting up at Morrisons car park, we left for the leisurely ride to Blakemere village – Northwich via the Mersey gateway bridge through Frodsham to Cuddington and onto the A556. We met up with Jimmy and few more from Cloud 9 along with Colin and Anita from Ormskirk, Aussie & Doug from Salford Knights SC and Ian & Marie who joined us before going on planned walk through Delamere Forest.
The Snig
The village at Blakemere has changed a bit since the last time we were there. After about 90 minutes chilling out (no pun intended ) we set off for the ride back home, some of us stopped off at the Snig (Mersey Hotel Widnes) for an afternoon of great sounds. We arrived a little early just as Peter Cogg was struggling with his DJ equipment, so I lent him a hand and then went off to get a well deserved drink! As the afternoon wore on some more Scooterists arrived, two being Chris and Jenny (on her new Royal Alloy) and young Dan on his Suzuki 1200. It was nice to see Rooster out and about again! Everyone was having a good catch up and some even had the opportunity to catch up on their moves “out on the floor” All in all I think everyone had a good day.
