As I leave for Carr Mill Dam it’s chucking it down with rain so on with the wet gear. Arriving at Carr Mill on the East Lancs road I could see only a handful of scooters in the car park , this was obviously due to the poor weather conditions. A couple of minutes later and another half dozen arrived, So we set off for the Cherry Gardens pub in Wigan. On arriving you could see that the weather had had a big effect on the numbers although by the time we arrived it was quite dry in Wigan. Anyway everyone who was there was in good spirits, having a laugh and a joke. The food laid on by the staff, sausage rolls chips and b&b it went down a treat. when the time had come to say goodnight and set off for home and guess what? Yes it started to rain again, so I left home in the rain and arrived back in the rain. Oh well it’s only water!
